COMPANY HISTORY
Anderson-Janovich traces its roots back to the late 1870's when ancestors of the Anderson Family established a house moving company in San Francisco. The business has remained family owned and operated, and has moved down the Peninsula to San Jose.
Peter began working for the family business in the mid 1960's during school breaks while in High School and College. Upon graduation from Oregon State University in 1975, he entered the business full-time.

In 1985, Peter obtained his contractor's license, and with his Uncle Tony Janovich, bought out a portion of the company. By 1988, Peter and Tony became the co-owners of what is now called Anderson-Janovich, Inc.
When Tony Janovich retired in 1994, Peter and his wife Lorin assumed sole ownership of the company. Together, Peter and Lorin operate the business. Peter concentrates on estimating and operations while Lorin manages the office. Perhaps one day their young sons, Jacob and Zachary, will participate in the family business.
